IDAHO DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE
The state of Idaho requires anyone seeking point reduction
on their Driver License to successfully complete an ITD approved Defensive
Driving Course.
This program must be completed as required by
the State of Idaho. Failure to comply with the court order can result in points
accumulating against your Driver License and possibly increased insurance
rates. All participants must achieve an 80%
or higher grade to satisfy the requirements.
If you're convicted of a traffic offense in another state,
the information on that offense will be sent to Idaho and placed in your
driving record. If it is a suspendable offense, your driving privileges will be
suspended by the Idaho Transportation Department, Division of Motor Vehicles.
Students are able to take the course on any device. Any person seeking to take the course on an Apple or Android product will need to download a free web browser called Puffin. The app will be available for a free download at Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store. The web browser contains a program called Adobe Flash which is required to complete this course.
